I saw the documentary Sharkwater last weekend.

First and foremost, the film has a lot of cool underwater shots of sharks. You can never go wrong there.

Secondly, I learned that sharks are being decimated by rogue fisherman after their fins. Apparently, shark fins sell for $300 a pound and are used to make shark fin soup, which is considered a delicacy in China. China’s booming economy = greater demand for shark fin soup =the shark population getting decimated.

Anyway, it is a good documentary. Watch it.
