October 1, 2012 will mark the one year anniversary of my company, the Brick Factory.  It has been a good first year.  Those familiar with my story know that the founding of the company was the culmination of years of work.  As a result, there are times when I think of the launch of the company as the climax of the story.  That has lead complacency to creep in on occasion.  Moving into year two I need to remember that I’m really only at the beginning.  I need to focus on taking advantage of the awesome opportunity I’m lucky enough to have.
