Manu Ginobili

This article from the San Antonio Express News lists Manu as a contender in the MVP race. Not going to happen obviously as Manu’s numbers go down when Duncan gets back. But I do think Manu’s offensive explosion with Duncan out allows Spurs homers like me to make the case for him as one of the 10 best players in the NBA. There is no doubt in mind that Manu averages 25 a night on an average team and is a perennial All Star. I think he is sort of a modern day Kevin McHale - a truly great player that doesn’t get the individual credit they deserve due to the greatness of their teamates.
