A few weeks ago I linked to a New York Times story that insinuated that the University of Texas football program takes potential Longhorns to drug-fueld orgies and pays off relatives as part of their recruiting process.  This is a link to the retraction, where the Times essentially admits that they have no idea whether the information they published is true.
